27 Feb - 4 Mar: back in the Blighty groove

Mon Woke at 1:30 and didn't get back to sleep till 6, then up at 6:30 with Dr M.  Straightaway went out for a run around Common, 5k in 35mins, which was a good effort.  Rest of day washing, then into London for farewell dinner with Jon at his local Thai.  Hannah came as well.  Almost fell asleep driving back, and straight to bed at 8:30.

Tue Woke at 1:30, then back to sleep at 4ish, slept through alarm and woken by phone call at 7:30.  Dr M showered and was out of the house in 8 minutes!  I emptied boxes from Lulu's room and put up shelves to get the books for her to sort out at some time at her convenience. Walked to Choir which went very well considering my 4 week absence, just 3 practices to go to concert.

Wed Woke at 4:30, so this is getting better!  General tidy up of kiddies clothes.  At lunchtime ran to gym (2.5k), swam for 1km, then ran/walked back via shops. Jon's plane was at 2pm, we are going to miss his sociable presence.  Lets hope for a complete nights sleep tonight.

Thu I'm bored with sleep patterns so I'll stop going on about it.  Waitrose for early shop.  Fettled with new bike, changing stem for a more upright one, and the cassette for a 11-34 (the largest Shimano do) in readiness for the Raid cols.  Its a mega big cog at the back!  More fettling with the "B screw" on the derailleur to get it to stop hitting the sprockets.  Tidied up front flower bed.  When Cherry got in we cycled to Ley Hill in the sunshine for a half pint (11.5miles):

Lulu came back for evening and we had a fillet steak for dinner.  Then C & I crashed out and were in bed by 9:30.

Fri Up early with the workers.  Prepared tapas for tonight.  Went into loft and fixed Aqualisa Axis Digital shower (Brian hadn't wired in the data cable junction box that I found on an addendum to the installation instructions).  Walked down to vill for minor shopping.  J&D round for dinner, both looking the same and well.

Sat G&N morning in Watford, nuff said.  Walked to vill for coffee in sunshine in afternoon.

Sun Up early to WP, me to swim, C to gym.  Then day out with G&N to Newbury to see Lulu's new house share and lunch at The Swan.  Lots of rain, then sleet.  In evening went to Flamenco evening at Peppermill, very relaxing and enjoyable.
