1 - 2 Feb: Sydney

Wed Slept a bit on flight, but not enough. Flight landed about 7:30. Big queues through passport control. Raining and cool when we met Bronwyn. She drove us to Bondi Beach for coffee and breakfast overlooking the beach, still rainy and windy!
Then drive back through city to their house in Killara. Lulu came out by train, and we went to Ealing for lunch with Frank - very suburban town where Frank worked. We both felt zonked so had a couple of hours kip while Lulu baked a cake before JoJo came out by train, great to see her again.
Frank's cycling buddies who are Raid Pyreneeing came over for beer and pizzas so we could meet up before the summer trip and chat about arrangements.
Alice (Lulu's Bristol and Accenture friend) came as well. Excellent food. Great group of guys, this is going to be fun in the Pyrenees.


Bought someOlympic tickets for fencIng on 4 August.

Thu in by train to meet Lulu at the station then walked to end of Harbour Bridge to climb the Pylon for the view - much better value than the bridge climb and views as good. Alice joined us.












Cherry bought a harbour bridge umbrella. Lunch at Fratellis (recommended by JoJo) by waterfront. Then walked back with Lulu to JoJo's flat for cup of tea, lovely bits of old houses and neighbourhoods. Walked down to Central Station and back to Kilara. Dinner at Eddie & Margie's with Craig & Claire, Frank & Bronwyn, Lulu and JoJo.
