9 - 13 July: Rain, rain, more rain, drizzle

Mon: Rained a lot to day.  Lots of minor tasks.  Swam 1.5km at lunchtime.  No cycling.

Tue: PPP cycle and lunch, 20ish miles all told.

Wed: Took car with bike to Chipperfield Garage for bumper repair, then cycled to Apsley jewellers to pick up repaired ring, back to home for 13 miles.

Thu: Swim (no cycle as Mrs M gave me a lift), then off for lunch with Eddie & Marge at Old Thatch Inn near Buckingham and afternoon around Stowe House and gardens, delightful time.

Fri: Walked to vill for shopping, avoided rain.  Cycled there and back to Lt Chalfont to drop post off at Hatches (6.6miles), then to Chipperfield to pick up car form garage (4.3miles). so only 11miles in total.  Have fitted 36-12 rear cassette and adjusted both front and rear gears, goes nicely and in the lowest gear it just walks up the hills.  So thats the bike sorted!  Shame about the body and legs.
